Time to really catch up...

It has been brought to my attention that I really need to update this blog...and of course now that I'm actually sitting down to do it, blogger is not allowing me to upload any pictures...stay tuned...I'll update our summer shortly...

Crafting

So...as some of you know I received a "new to me" sewing machine for my last b-day. I've re-taught myself how to sew (with the help of my mom who showed me how to wind a bobbin), and have been having fun making some cute things - mostly for babies. I've been reading a lot of crafty-type blogs lately, and ran across this project: www.theidearoom.net/2009/08/fashionable-fabric-key-chains.html

Totally not sure if that's even going to work, but that's where I got the idea from. A cool fabric key chain. It was nice to be able to make something that I could use pretty well every day. So, tonight I gave it my first try at it...and I actually really like it, and think that I'm going to start using it tomorrow.
