October 2010

Noah started skating lessons at the Garson arena...were are thankful it is so close, and it is a great program he is in!
Apparently Sydney is pretty excited about these too...:)
The kids were both pretty pumped to look outside one morning and see that it was white out there...so we all had to get dressed up in our warm clothes and go outside to play for a bit. Noah even convinced Jonathan to build a snowman...too bad it only lasted a couple days...

MARIO and A STRAWBERRY!! This halloween was so exciting for us - Noah had been calling himself Mario for months in preparation for this day!! He was so excited to go "halloween apple-ing"! And Sydney...well, she was content to sit in her stroller and read the book she got from Angela and Cam when we stopped by their place...she is so easy to please!!

September 2010

Sydney started to walk by the end of August, and really became excited to be able to push her baby around in her stroller...

September brought some exciting new adventures to the De Piero household....Noah started PRESCHOOL!! I could not believe this time had already come for him - and he could not have been more excited!! He goes with his friend Lexis, which I think really made for a smooth transition for him. I took some time off of work so I could bring him for the first 2 classes. I was really glad to see where he would be going, and meet some of the kids as well. Of course we had to get the classic shots before we headed out that morning:

Megan was in the dragon boat races, and my mom and I took the kids to watch....it was a fun evening.

We met up with the De Piero cousins one day at the park - a good photo op too:)

August 2010

August long weekend was a great one at the lake - great weather and great company. The De Piero cottage was full, and my parents and Megan and Mike went camping near-by as well. Here the guys are taking the boys for a boat-ride before they go fishing.
Aaron showing off his catch.
Finally - they actually caught a lot of fish this time!! lol...
Having a nice visit at the campsite.

Meeting Smokey Bear.

Apparently Sydney likes cherries...
Noah finished the ice cream, but Phoenix got the cone...

Tinkertown was great fun this year - Sydney was old enough to go on most of the rides with Noah. Jonathan went on the spinny rides with him (and so did Ryan and Chelan - thank goodness for people that don't get motion sickness)...and that left me to go on the ferris wheel.

Notice the bruise on Sydney's face...a little mis-hap with the coffee table that morning...

My friend Irene came for a visit with her hubby and two cute little boys. We had a blast that evening, and hope they come again really really soon!!!

July 2010

These are in a very random order...

Happy Canada Day!!

Grandpa showing the kids how to drive a fire-truck!

Matthew showing the boys the worms they were going to use for fishing...Noah was quite interested in playing with them, but Caleb wanted no part of it...smart kid!!

Cool Sydney in her shades:

June 2010

Sydney loves getting into our cupboards...and this bottle of syrup to make slurpees with was her favourite find...
We spent pretty well every weekend at the lake. The kids just loved spending time in the water:
We weren't planning on going swimming this day...but playing in the sand led to being in the water...just couldn't keep her out of it.

Janelle and the boys came for a visit at the end of June, and we spent one day at the zoo .

May 2010

Since we are so far behind, my goal it to do an update by month...hopefully we'll get everyone caught up on 0ur spring, summer and fall soon enough....here goes...

Bath Time:
Since the kids birthdays are so close together, we had a big joint party for them. We are very thankful to have such great family and friends who came to celebrate our kids birthdays with us.
The kids enjoyed the Pinata:
Sydney's first taste of cake (even better - it was made by Grandma): I have no idea why this picture turned itself around...but since blogger is refusing to cooperate, this is the way it will be staying....Their very nice picture cake: It's My Party And I'll Cry If I Want To:

We went with my family to Minneapolis to celebrate my parents' 35th Wedding Anniversary. We went out for a nice dinner one night, hung out at the waterpark at the hotel for a day, the Minneapolis Zoo for a morning, and did more than our fair share of shopping as well.

The kids enjoying the nice spring weather.
