Well, our fun day started out getting the kids dressed in their Canada Day outfits.
Then, we went out to the cabin for the day. As the water level is too high this year for us to have our own beach, we headed down the road to another beach. Unfortunately it was quite windy, so we didn't go in the water, but had fun playing in the sand, and of course eating all the snacks we had packed.
Sydney was her adorable self as per usual. Just enjoyed being outside in the warmth.
In the afternoon, we were back at the cabin and both kids were sleeping - so nice!! I even had a bit of time to read my book (yes, I've even started to read again these past few months).
